Medications and doses
Record each medication as your veterinarian wrote it — name, amount, unit, frequency and route — and mark a dose as given when you give it. The dose field is free text on purpose: the app performs no calculation, no rounding, no unit conversion and no autocomplete on any part of a prescription. It cannot originate a dose, so it cannot originate a wrong one.
Dose records are never edited and never deleted. A correction is a new entry that supersedes the old one, and both stay visible with the name and time on each. In a household with two people looking after one animal, a quietly overwritten record is how a dose gets given twice.
Who logged it, and when
Every dose, reading, weight and visit carries the name of the person who recorded it and the time they did, in the same size text as the entry itself. Not a tooltip, not a caption, not something you tap to reveal.
Reminders
Local notifications, scheduled by your phone. A reminder names the pet and the item and says that it is due. It never repeats the dose amount and never instructs. Repeats do not escalate in urgency, and nothing that has not been logged is ever called missed, late or overdue — it reads “Not logged”, in amber, and never in red.
Quiet hours are yours to set. A dose falling inside them is not delivered as a notification; it is still due, and it still appears on the dashboard.
Vitals, weight and lab values
Enter a measurement and it is shown back to you exactly as you typed it, next to its date and the person who recorded it. The app ships no reference ranges, colours no number by its value, and will not tell you whether a reading is normal, high, low, good or bad. Your veterinarian interprets the numbers; the app makes sure you have them, in order, with dates.
Every chart has a table of the same numbers beside it, visible without tapping anything.
Appointments and visits
Scheduled and past veterinary visits, clinic details, and what was said.
Care routines
The routine your veterinarian gave you, kept as stages you can work through. The app does not compose one, does not suggest a next step and does not grade your progress through it.
Documents on file
A list of the documents belonging to a pet, with kind, file type and size, so you know what exists and can find it. The metadata describes the file, never the animal.
Export and backup
A CSV export and a full backup, written into the app’s folder where the Files app can reach them. Both work on every plan, during the trial, after the trial and after a cancellation. The backup file is readable text and is not encrypted — that is deliberate, because a backup only the device that wrote it can open is useless in the situation a backup exists for. Keep it somewhere you are content for your pet’s records to sit.
No account, no server
There is no sign-up, no login and no cloud. Records live in an encrypted database on your device, with the key in the iOS keychain. The app makes no network requests, and contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising code.
What is not here
No diagnosis, no interpretation, no dose calculation, no health score, no adherence percentage, no streak and no badge. Not omissions — boundaries. See Safety & product boundaries.
