1. Acceptance
By using the PetMedLog website or app you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. Subscriptions bought through the App Store are additionally governed by Apple’s standard end user licence agreement, which is the licence the app is distributed under.
2. What PetMedLog is
A record-keeping and reminder tool for pet owners. It stores medications, doses you have logged, measurements, appointments, documents and veterinarian-provided care routines that you enter yourself, on your own device.
3. No veterinary advice
PetMedLog does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment or medication recommendations, dose calculations, medical risk assessment, emergency services or clinical decision support. Everything it displays came from you. Always consult a licensed veterinarian about health concerns, treatment decisions and medication use.
4. Emergencies
PetMedLog is not an emergency service. If you believe an animal is having a medical emergency, contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency veterinary service immediately.
5. Accuracy of your records, and reminders
You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping it accurate. Reminders are a convenience feature scheduled by your device; they can be delayed or suppressed by the operating system, by your own quiet-hours setting, or by notification permissions being switched off. Do not rely on them as the only means of managing medication or appointments.
6. No account
PetMedLog has no user accounts, no sign-in and no server-side storage. Access to your records is access to your device, so keeping your device and its passcode secure is what keeps your records private.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with or gain unauthorised access to the app or this website, and do not use either for an unlawful purpose.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app and this site working, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change between releases. Nothing you have already recorded will be hidden, degraded or deleted by such a change.
9. Subscriptions
Paid plans are auto-renewable subscriptions sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. The price shown by the App Store in your own currency, before purchase, is the price that applies. A subscription renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in Settings ▸ Apple Account ▸ Subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
A plan raises only how many pets you can add. Reading your records, logging doses, receiving reminders and exporting everything are outside every plan, and cancelling takes nothing away from what you have already recorded.
10. Your content
The records you create are yours. We claim no licence over them and cannot access them: they do not leave your device unless you export them yourself.
11. Intellectual property
The PetMedLog name, branding, software and interface design remain ours. These terms transfer no ownership of them.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app and this site are provided “as is” and “as available”, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from their use or from reliance on information you entered into them. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product changes. The current version is always on this page with its date.
